Insolvency procedure ended by the insolvency court –
Märklin CEO Stefan Löbich: This creates the basis for a
successful future
Göppingen – The insolvency of the toy manufacturer
Märklin has now been legally ended. The insolvency court
for Göppingen in its decision of February 17, 2011 ended the
insolvency process regarding the assets and liabilities of
Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH (Göppingen) and declared the
insolvency plan decided on by the creditors' meeting on
December 6, 2010 to be legally binding. At the same time
the office of lawyer Michael Pluta as insolvency trustee was
thereby ended and Märklin was given back the right to make
use of the assets.
"The end of the insolvency is another milestone and the
basis for a successful future for our firm", commented
Märklin CEO Stefan Löbich on the decision of the court.
Löbich, who replaced insolvency CEO Dr. Kurt Seitzinger at
the head of the firm on January 1, 2011, declared that he
and his colleagues are conscious of their responsibility with
respect to accountability and sustainability and would
exercise reason and vision in the decisions ahead. After the
